With a developed and proven record in the delivery of multi-million-pound projects and programmes involving stakeholders, supply chains, client objectives and methodologies over the course of a 33-year journey.

Whilst at DHL I held several senior positions including Head of LLP Business and Logistics Contract Manager, in each role making critical contributions to projects that helped to maintain the organisation’s major client contracts and international market presence. This included design solutions for major technology clients, high volume business migrations, client-centred process changes, devising freight / logistics solutions and end-to-end distribution and supply chains.
After leaving DHL, I had set up my own limited company where I provide consultancy, project, and programme management services on a freelance basis.
In those early days my assignments included, joining a former colleague at a fast-growing software company that assures logistical data can be trusted. As Global Programme Manager I worked closely with clients to understand and deliver upon their specific requirements. I consulted on multiple projects simultaneously at director level, coordinated internal staff to ensure delivery on time and within budget, and ensured consistent compliance with operational regulations, performance standards and different project methodologies.
In recent years, I had managed several exciting projects with Compaq computers, HP, IBM, Lenovo, DHL companies, Menzies Distribution, WH Smiths, DHL Supply Chain, House of Fraser, Morrisons supermarkets, Dr Martens, CEVA Logistics, Wincanton Distribution, Wincanton Energylink, Pullmans fleet services, Reconext, Worldline Ingenico and Verifone.
As a snapshot, these including outsourcing of business to 4PLs, transition of live operations between 4 PL providers, expansions of distribution networks, expansion of retail delivery networks, opening of multiple distribution centres, business transformation, process improvement.
Across many of these projects these included the integration and deployment of SAAS platforms, WMS, TMS, ERP, Carrier ecommerce systems. With some of the mainstream and bespoke providers.
